The Hubtown Panorama Panthers edged past the Vedanta Leopards in a thrilling encounter on Day 2 of the World Padel League Season 3.
The Panthers started strong as Enri Goenaga and Daniel Santigosa dominated Sanyo Gutierrez and Javi G Mora with a commanding 6-2 win in the opening men's doubles set.
The Leopards responded in style in the second set with a powerful performance from Tamara Icardo and Marta Ortega, who overpowered Julieta Bidahorria and Virgi Riera 6-1, briefly putting the Leopards ahead 8-7 in total games.
However, the Panthers roared back in the decider. Daniel Santigosa returned, this time partnering with Alex Arroyo, to clinch the final set 6-3 against Jairo Bautista and Ignacio Piotto. Arroyo’s brilliance proved decisive as the Panthers sealed the match with a 13-11 overall games win.
