Video: Prasidh Krishna's Expression Instantly Changes After Mohammed Siraj's Messes Up Catching Opportunity On Day 4 At Oval, Pacer Hugs Teammate

Team India pacer Prasidh Krishna's expression instantly changed after Mohammed Siraj's blunder on the boundary rope on Day 4 of the fifth Test against England at The Oval. However, Krishna and Siraj embraced one another at the end of the session as the latter had seemingly apologized for making a mess of the chance offered by Harry Brook.

The moment occurred in the 34th over of the innings as Brook played a pull shot, seemingly to send the ball over mid-wicket. But mistiming it meant that the ball merely took the top edge and carried to Siraj, who had just come onto the field after going into the dressing room following an eight-over spell. Although the Hyderabad-born cricketer took the catch cleanly, he lost his balance and stepped onto the rope, conceding a six.

Watch the below video as Krishna holds his arms aloft smiling for a wicket but it changed instantly:

Nevertheless, Siraj was seemingly sorry for his mishap as the two shared a hug.

Prasidh Krishna nipped out Ben Duckett to give Team India their first breakthrough of Day 4

The 29-year-old Krishna, who took four wickets in the first innings, added Ben Duckett's scalp to his tally on Day 4 at The Oval as the left-hander edged a full delivery to the slip cordon as KL Rahul took a sharp catch.

A few overs later, Siraj took his second wicket of the innings, trapping skipper Ollie Pope lbw for 27 just when the Surrey batter was finding his groove. Siraj's first victim proved to be Zak Crawley, who got outsmarted by a yorker. However, Brook's counterattack has pegged the tourists slightly back as England reached 164/3, bringing the requirement down to 210 more runs.

The home side are currently in pursuit of 374 in pursuit of 3-1 series victory.
