With Portugal securing a resounding win over Poland in the UEFA nations league, veteran footballer Cristiano Ronaldo captured the spotlight with a stunning two-goal performance. However, it was his overhead bicycle kick that proved to be the show stealer over his Panenka-style penalty kick as a video of the same emerged on social media.

After the teams went into half time tied 0-0, a dramatic turnaround followed in the second half. Although Poland did pose a few challenges in the opening half, they weren't able to net a goal. Nevertheless, Portugal came in with a determined approach in the second half as Rafael Leao opened the account with a header. Bruno Fernandes and Pedro Neto scored the other two goals for Portugal, while Dominik Marczuk was the only one to net for Poland.

Meanwhile, the two goals became the veteran footballer's 134th and 135th in the international arena. As a result, he surpassed the late Diego Maradona for netting more goals after turning 35.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with DAZN (via O Jogo), Chelsea legend John Terry had backed the Portuguese footballer to touch the 1000-goal mark.
