The video played on the massive screen had visuals of Rohit celebrating one of his many centuries at top-level cricket, lifting the T20 World Cup in 2024 and the Champions Trophy this year. The video also carried lines for "Two icons from two different worlds" and "Trendsetters in their respective fields."
In the end, it was stated, "Happy birthday Mahesh Babu. With Love from Rohit Sharma."

Meanwhile, the Nagpur-born cricketer was recently spotted in London, spending holidays with family. He was also notably present for the fifth Test between India and England at the Kia Oval Cricket Ground in London, cheering for Yashasvi Jaiswal.
On the cricketing side of things, Rohit's last competitive match was during IPL 2025 for the Mumbai Indians during Qualifier 2 against the Punjab Kings as the five-time champions lost to the eliminated out of the tournament. Rohit is likely to next appear for India during the Australia tour in October 2025.
Nevertheless, as per latest reports, the tour of Australia could be the last international assignment for both Rohit and Virat Kohli as the BCCI reportedly want the pair to feature in Vijay Hazare Trophy to stay in contention to play the 2027 World Cup.
