UFC 309: Marcin Tybura Lands Vicious Elbows On Jhonata Diniz, Leaves Latter Bloodied; Visuals Surface

Brazilian kickboxer Jhonata Diniz was involved in a vicious battle against Marcin Tybura, leaving his face bloodied and disfigured at the end of the fight in UFC 309. In a video surfaced on social media, Tybura was seen landing brutal elbow shots on Diniz, with blood starting to pour soon out of his face.

The Madison Square Garden in New York witnessed Tybura (26-9 MMA, 13-8 UFC) and Diniz (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) lock horns. It was after round two that a decision of technical knockout came by as a doctor intervened to check on Diniz. Tybura's unleashing of vicious elbow shots on the opponent's face hardly gave him any time to react despite him trying to defend himself.

Despite Diniz writhing in pain, he was reportedly determined to continue, but the doctor rendered him unfit to continue. Meanwhile, Tybura registered only his second victory of 2024 and bounced back from a defeat to Serghei Spivac in August. It was also Diniz's first loss of his career.
