‘They Can Afford Trips To...’: Iceland Cricket Trolls Cricket Australia After AUS Vs BAN 2nd Test Ends Inside Two Days

The viral social media account suggested a trip to the Nordic nation with the money they had received from the truncated contest.

The account continued its satire by turning its attention to the empty days left by the early finish. “Day 3 golfing coverage from MacKay is also necessary,” Iceland Cricket wrote. It also shared an earlier post calling for live coverage of the players' golf rounds on days four and five when matches finish early.

The Mackay Test was particularly dramatic, with 18 wickets falling on the opening day. Australia eventually made 210 before Starc and the hosts' bowling attack completed a dominant turnaround after Bangladesh's surprise win in the first Test in Darwin. The victory also levelled the two-Test series at 1-1.
