The Rohit Sharma-led Indian men's cricket team will wear a brand-new jersey in the upcoming three-match ODI series against England at home. The series will kick off on Thursday at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur, marking their final preparations for the 2025 Champions Trophy.
The new jersey displays saffron, white, and green on the shoulders. Additionally, the blue colour, symbolising the Ashoka Chakra, is also part of the jersey. The new jersey is now adorned with the colours of the Indian tricolour. The BCCI share image of players wearing the new jersey in a photoshoot.

While the men's team will wear this kit during the England series and the Champions Trophy, it was first introduced by the Harmanpreet Kaur-led women's team during their home series against Ireland last month.
The official unveiling of the jersey was conducted in November last year by former BCCI secretary and current ICC Chairman Jay Shah, alongside the women’s team.
India begins Champions Trophy preparation without Jasprit Bumrah
India faces a crucial test in assessing their bowling attack, particularly amid concerns over Jasprit Bumrah’s fitness. The 31-year-old pacer, recovering from back spasms, has been out of action since early January and remains uncertain for the Champions Trophy, despite being named in the squad.
With his availability in doubt, the responsibility will largely fall on Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh to lead the bowling attack in the England ODI series.
All eyes will be on captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, both under scrutiny following a poor run in red-ball cricket. Their recent appearances in the Ranji Trophy last month, though highly anticipated, ended in disappointment. This series presents a crucial opportunity for them to regain form ahead of the marquee ICC event.
