A female fan confronted Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed during the second ODI against New Zealand on Wednesday at the Seddon Park in Hamilton. In a video surfaced on social media, the female fan was seen screaming a few words to the leg-spinner for his send-off to Shubman Gill during the Champions Trophy 2025 match.

Although Abrar bowled well in the match, finishing with tidy figures of 10-0-28-1, the Men in Green failed to defend 242 in the game and lost by six wickets. Additionally, the defending champions finished the tournament winless.
Pakistan lose three-game ODI series to New Zealand
After losing the first ODI by 73 runs, Pakistan crashed to a 84-run loss in the second to lose the series. Chasing a stiff 293 in the second ODI in Hamilton, the tourists suffered a horrendous top-order collapse as none of the top five made it to double figures.
Faheem Ashraf and Tayyab Tahir helped Pakistan save face by making 73 and 51 runs, respectively but they still got bowled out for 208 in 41.2 overs. the third and final ODI will take place on April 5, Saturday in Mount Maunganui.
