Dilip Kumar lost two frames, but the experienced campaigner from Chennai trounced Mushtaq Khan 5-2 in a qualifying round match set to nine frames in the Rs. 32 lakh prize money National Sports Club of India Baulkline 4.0 All India Snooker tournament at the NSCI Dome on Tuesday.
Making his first appearance in a tournament, structured in a way that makes the challenge difficult for the lightweights in the preliminary stage, the 36-year-old former India No.5 Dilip Kumar who represents the Railways began his match in style and ended it so.
While Mushtaq Khan grabbed attention winning two frames, Imran Nazeer was not as lucky conceding his match to Rayan Razmi when 0-4 down.
