Kolkata Knight Riders' co-owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was caught smoking at the Eden Gardens amid the IPL 2024 game against the SunRisers Hyderabad on Saturday. The video went viral and the incident occurred during the 1st innings of Saturday's fixture at the iconic stadium, which has hosted plenty of famous matches.

The veteran Bollywood actor has come under controversy in IPL previously as well as he was banned from entering the Wankhede Stadium for 5 years after involving himself in an ugly scuffle with a security officer in the 2012 edition.

As far as the result of the match at the iconic venue goes, the Knight Riders prevailed by 4 runs at the Eden Gardens as Harshit Rana defended 13 off the final over. The Knight Riders were fully in control at one stage when the Orange Army were 78 adrift of victory with only 27 deliveries left. However, Heinrich Klaasen dished out some big hits to bring his side closer to the target of 209 runs.

The 13 runs required off the final over became 6 runs needed off the last 4 when Rana picked up two wickets, including Klaasen's for 63. Pat Cummins arrive next, but failed to get the ball away to the boundary to force a super over.

Earlier, Andre Russell had propelled the home side to 208-7 in 20 overs from a precarious position of 123-6 in 15 overs via an 81-run stand with Rinku Singh.
