Updates:
Ravindra Jadeja emerged as the pick of the bowlers on Day 2 with three wickets, leaving West Indies with a steep task ahead of the remaining days of the contest. The 66-run partnership between Alick Athanaze and Tagenaraine Chanderpaul restored some sanity for the Caribbeans but they failed to go big as the tourists slid to 140/4.
West Indies opener John Campbell was dismissed under unfortunate circumstances as the tourists walked into tea at 26/1 at Tea on Day 2 of the second Test against India in Delhi. The tourists still trail by 492 runs and must grind it out to take the contest deep.
As per the latest update, India have declared their innings at 518/5, immediately after Jurel's dismissal on 44.
Skipper Shubman Gill has peeled off his tenth ton as India's total has eased past 500 on Day 2 of the second Test against the West Indies in Delhi. With Dhruv Jurel at the other end, the home side have accelerated as the declaration could be coming in soon to push for victory.

Nitish Kumar Reddy was the second wicket to fall but Shubman Gill's unbeaten 73 has carried India to 427/4 at lunch.
Team India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal will lead their charge as he aims to complete his double-hundred on Day 2 of the second Test against the West Indies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The left-handed batter put West Indies’ bowlers to the sword and batted all day to put India in a dominant position. West Indies have plenty of work to do heading into day two as their two breakthroughs were accounted for by left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican. The tourists’ bowling attack looked as toothless as it did in the opening Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. With a decent batting surface on offer, the Caribbeans must at least cash on it to make the match as competitive as possible.
