A video of the same surfaced on social media as the netizens praised the sportsmanship of the two star batters, especially with both of them struggling for runs recently.

Babar has been under fire, especially after his 64 off 90 deliveries that proved decisive in their 60-run defeat to New Zealand in the opening game of the tournament. Kohli, meanwhile, laboured to 22 off 38 deliveries against Bangladesh in Dubai. However, he is only 15 runs short of the 14000-run mark in one-day international cricket.

Meanwhile, Pakistan skipper Mohammad Rizwan won an important toss in Dubai and opted to bat first. Rohit Sharma and co. also lost the toss against Bangladesh in their previous game and the Tigers opted to bat first. However, Mohammed Shami starred with a five-wicket haul and Harshit Rana also took three wickets to bowl Bangladesh out for 228 in 49.4 overs, eventually winning by six wickets.
