The incident happened in the 20th over when Rizwan played a short and looked to complete single. While doing so, the Pakistan skipper shouldered Rana who looked upset with the action . With overs ticking away, Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel finally shifted gears. After enduring nearly 50 deliveries without a boundary, the duo broke the shackles, smashing four boundaries in three overs to build momentum in their 50-plus partnership.

At the halfway mark, Pakistan finds itself on the back foot after losing both openers early. Rizwan and Shakeel have steadied the innings with a cautious 52-run stand, but their defensive approach has kept India’s bowlers in the hunt for another breakthrough.

Pakistan make one change in playing XI

Pakistan have won an important toss at the Dubai International Stadium as they have opted to bat first. Mohammad Rizwan, the captain, announced one change, bringing in Imam-ul-Haq for the injured Fakhar Zaman. Team India, who won their opening game against Bangladesh, remain unchanged.
