'Garden Mein Ghoomne Wale Bande': Rohit Sharma Uses Reference From Vizag Test vs England, Shares Photo With Team India Youngsters

Team India captain Rohit Sharma posted a photo on his official Instagram account with the four youngsters, who were critical to their emphatic 4-1 Test series victory against England. The veteran opening batter posted a photo with Dhruv Jurel, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, and Shubman Gill with the caption 'Garden mein ghoomne waale bande'.

The caption relates to the incident in the 2nd Test against England in Vishakhapatnam as he used a couple of commonly used swear words in Hindi to instil discipline among the fielders and avoid over-rates.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill emerged as the top two run-getters in the series, hammering 712 runs and 452 runs respectively. Jurel had an integral role to play in India's victory in Ranchi, while Sarfaraz made a contribution in almost all innings since debuting in Rajkot.

Team India head coach Rahul Dravid heaped praise on the entire team and believes they have followed Rohit's footsteps throughout the series quite well. Speaking to the broadcaster after the victory in Dharamsala, Dravid stated:

"I think it's nice. I think I'm privileged to work with a lovely team. It's not just about me. And I think this is a fantastic bunch of professionals that I have the privilege of working with. And I'm learning from them all the time. Rohit [Sharma] has been fantastic to work with. I think he's a terrific leader. And just the guys gravitate towards him phenomenally, which is fantastic to see."

With the innings and 64-run win, India also solidified their standing in the WTC table standings.
