Pakistan and South Africa are currently battling each other in the opening Test currently being played in Centurion. During the play there was a heated exchange happened between players from both teams. Pakistan batsman Kamran Ghulam abused South Africa pacer Kagiso Rabada & wicketkeeper Kyle Verreynne.
The incident happened when Ghulam stopped Rabada as he was about to deliver the ball due to an issue with sidescreen. In the video which is going viral, Ghulam can be heard saying 'F**k You' to both the players.
South Africa on top against Pakistan in Boxing Day test
South African bowlers dominated Pakistan's batting lineup with the visitors struggling at 209/9 at the time of writing. Temba Bavua after winning the toss asked Pakistan to bat first.
Debutant Corbin Bosch and Dane Paterson ripped through the Pakistan batting lineup sharing 9 wickets between them. Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen remained wicketless. For Pakistan Kamran Ghulam top scored with 54 runs, while Aamer Jamal was the next highest with 28 runs. Babar Azam did not last long enough and got out for just 4 runs. The last time Babar scored either a fifty or a hundred in Tests was in 2022 against New Zealand in Karachi. He had scored 161 in that game which ended in a draw.
Azam, returned to the side after being dropped after the first Test against England in Multan in October. Kamran Ghulam, who made his Test debut in the absence of Azam during the England series, has retained his spot in the team. If South Africa win at SuperSport Park, they will guarantee a place in the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
