Dhruv Jurel struck a sensational century to continue his good run of form in the IND vs SL Test series. Jurel stitched vital partnerships with Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant to take India past the 500 run mark on Day 2 in Colombo. It was the batter's second century of his Test career.

The knock of Jurel might have pleased the management immensely as this was his second fifty in as many Tests after going without a 50-plus score in eight innings prior to the first Test in Galle.
