The two sides share a long-standing rivalry and are playing in India against one another for the first time; hence, it has attracted fans in massive numbers, with Bollywood actors like Kareena Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh also making an appearance.

Below is the video of the same as shared by a journalist on X:

Real Madrid overpower FC Barcelona by 2-0:

Fernando Morientes and David Barral emerged as the goal-scorers for Real Madrid as they managed to overpower Barcelona by 2-0 in a clash of titans. Morientes opened the account in the very 14th minute and methodically snatched the ball from Barcelona, who had it in their possession early on.

Even at the half time, Barcelona had the majority of possession but they were far from the target. The first half could have been 2-0 in favour of Real Madrid Legends had Michael Oven's kick not gone over the bar in the 44th minute of the contest.

As far as the second goal for Real Madrid goes, Carlos Puyol failed to hold off Barral, who overcame the challenge brilliantly and put the ball past the goalkeeper. It was in the 69th minute that the second goal came and Barcelona had to walk away goalless in the match.
