VIDEO: Stunt For Instagram Reel Turns Costly As Car Falls Into 300-Ft Ravine In Maharashtra's Satara

Satara: In a shocking incident in Satara's Patan taluka, a car plunged into a 300-ft valley while the driver was reportedly performing a risky stunt for an Instagram reel.

The incident took place on Wednesday at 4 pm in the Sadawaghapur area. The driver has been identified as Sahil Jadhav (20, resident of Goleshwar, Karad), was seriously injured in the accident and is currently undergoing treatment.

Video Of The Incident Surfaces

A video of the incident has surfaced. The video shows the car losing control in between of the stunt and suddenly falling into the valley. The person shooting the video can be heard reacting in shock as the vehicle falls down the valley.

A local cowherd from Mhavashi, Mangesh Jadhav and students of Kingmaker Academy rescued Sahil Jadhav, who was severely injured in the accident.

Incident Sparks Safety Concerns

This area where the incident took place is known as 'Table Point,' which is popular among tourists, but the absence of safety railings is making this place risky. After the video of the accident went viral, locals have demanded immediate safety measures and the installation of railings.
