VIDEO: Fired Over Addiction, Ex-Worker Attacks Pune Security Guard With Knife In Chinchwad Society

A shocking incident took place in Chinchwad’s Shantivan Society where a man attacked a security guard with a knife, angry over being removed from his job due to alleged addiction issues.

The attacker, Ram Londhe, used to work as a housekeeping staff in the same society.

The guard, Sudam Kamethe, was on duty at the society gate when Londhe tried to enter. When the guard stopped him and asked why he was trying to get in, the two got into an argument. Suddenly, Londhe pulled out a knife and attacked Kamethe.

To protect himself, Kamethe picked up a brick from a nearby table, but Londhe grabbed it from him and hit him on the head. The attack was caught on the society’s CCTV cameras.

Police said that Londhe was removed from his job earlier because of addiction issues. They believe this may be the reason for the attack. The police have arrested Londhe and are investigating further.
