Pune’s Dagdusheth Ganapati To Stun Devotees With Majestic Padmanabhaswamy Temple Replica This Ganeshotsav (VIDEO)

The Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Public Ganapati Trust, Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal Chiavati, will celebrate its 133rd year with a grand display: a replica of the Padmanabhaswamy Temple from Kerala.

The decoration for the same will start on this Saturday, May 31. It will start at 9 a.m. at Hirabaug Kothri in front of Sanas Ground, Bajirao Road.

The Padmanabhaswamy Temple, located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is one of the most revered and richest temples in India. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple features a striking idol of the deity in the Anantha Shayana (reclining) posture on the serpent Adi Shesha. Architecturally, the temple is an exquisite blend of Dravidian and Kerala styles, with intricate carvings and a towering gopuram (gateway tower).

The temple gained global attention after the discovery of immense treasure stored in its underground vaults, further deepening its mystique. It is believed that the wealth was accumulated through offerings over centuries and has remained untouched.

Last year, the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Public Ganapati Trust, Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal Chiavati, marked its 131st year with a grand celebration featuring a stunning replica of the Jatoli Shiva Mandir from Himachal Pradesh.
