Pune: Who Is Jitendra Dudi? New District Collector Who Will Replace Dr Suhas Diwase

Jitendra Dudi, the current District Collector of Satara, will take over as the new District Collector of Pune, replacing the outgoing collector, Dr. Suhas Diwase.

Dr Diwase has been promoted and shifted to the Department of Land Records. In a major reshuffle ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Diwase was appointed as Pune Collector, replacing Rajesh Deshmukh. Diwase, an IAS officer from the Maharashtra cadre, joined the service in 2009. He previously held the position of Commissioner of Agriculture and later served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA). Diwase also had stints as the District Collector of Bhandara and as the head of the Pimpri Chinchwad New Town Development Authority (PCNTDA).

Dudi is a 2016-batch IAS officer. He is currently the collector of Satara district. He was posted as the CEO of Sangli ZP during the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally from Rajasthan, Dudi holds a B.Tech degree from Swami Keshwanand Institute of Technology Management and Gramotthan, Jaipur.
