A major fire broke out at a loudspeaker factory in Pune's Manjari area in the early hours of Friday, officials said. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, they added.
According to the Pune Fire Brigade, the blaze was reported at 4:43am. It spread across the 6,000-sqft factory premises, which were made of tin sheds and metallic angles in Manjari Khurd.

The fire was brought under control within 45 minutes by officials from the Pune and Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) Fire Brigade. They also ensured that no workers were trapped in the fire.
The entire factory was gutted by the blaze. As of now, the fire has been fully extinguished, and no injuries or casualties have been reported.
