A Pune senior police officer's daughter, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, created a ruckus on the road at Jagtap Chowk in Wanawadi on the night of Saturday.
The incident came to light when a woman, in an inebriated state, sat on the road and started shouting at Jagtap Chowk in Wanawadi around midnight on Saturday.
Following the incident, an eyewitness filed a complaint at the Wanawadi Police Station in Pune. According to the information provided by the eyewitness, the woman was behaving indecently in a public place. The crowd gathered at the scene, causing a traffic disruption. Local citizens attempted to inform the police to bring the situation under control.
According to official information, the woman is the daughter of a police officer posted in Pune. Police have stated that she is an alcohol addict.
The issue was resolved after the control room received a call, and the situation was brought under control.
Earlier in January 2024, she had created a ruckus in an upscale society in the Wanawadi area.
