Pune Teacher Pays Another Woman To Do Her Job, Gets Suspended
According to an India Today report, the teacher, identified as Bharti Deepak More, was absent from duty despite no prior leave approval

A shocking incident has taken place at a school in Pune district's Bhor taluka. A teacher has been suspended for, firstly remaining absent from duty without any leave approval and, secondly, hiring a proxy to teach in her place.
According to an India Today report, the teacher, identified as Bharti Deepak More, was absent from duty despite no prior leave approval. However, her signature was falsely recorded in the attendance register. Moreover, another woman was found teaching in her place. This came to light after the school CEO and administrative officer conducted a surprise visit.

It has been revealed that More had hired the woman by paying her a fixed amount to handle her teaching responsibilities.
Meanwhile, More has been suspended on the grounds of unauthorised absence from duty, leaving school without prior approval, negligence towards professional responsibilities, allowing an unauthorised individual to take charge of the classroom, handing over classroom keys to a third person and hindering students' academic progress, among others.
