In one more shocking murder from Pune district, a young student has been brutally murdered. His hands and feet were severed, and his head and torso were discarded in separate wells, sending shockwaves through Pune district.
As per the report by Zee 24 Taas, the victim, 18-year-old Mauli Gavhane, had been missing for eight days after leaving home to attend his 12th standard exam. He was last seen in Shirur on March 6, where he had gone to appear for his exam.
Two days ago, a body without limbs or a head was discovered in a well in Danewadi, a village in Shrigonda taluka, located near the border of Pune and Ahilyanagar districts. Following the discovery, the police launched an investigation and suspected that the remains might be of Mauli. The fear was confirmed today when his head and hands were found in another well in the same village.
The police identified the body parts as Mauli Gavhane’s. Authorities are now investigating the brutal murder to determine who is responsible for this horrific crime. This shocking incident has left residents in Pune and Ahilyanagar districts reeling from the violence, especially as the victim was a young student preparing for his exams.
