Political Developments Accelerate In Nashik: Sunil Bagul & Mama Rajwade Set To Join BJP

A major upheaval is currently taking place in Nashik politics. The path has been cleared for former deputy leader Sunil Bagul and former metropolitan chief Mama Rajwade, who were expelled from Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The green light has been given to their entry into the party after the complainant withdrew the cases of assault and theft registered against them.

Bagul, speaking to a news channel, informed that this induction ceremony will be held in Nashik on Sunday (July 27) in the presence of senior BJP leaders.

There was talk of Bagul and Rajwade, who were expelled from the Shiv Sena (UBT) a few days ago, joining the BJP. After Vilas Shinde joined Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), Rajwade was elected as the General Secretary of Shiv Sena (UBT) in his place. However, after just five days, he decided to join BJP. Hence, Bagul and Rajwade were expelled from the party for taking anti-party action. After that, their entry into BJP was confirmed, but the BJP had stopped their entry for some time due to serious crimes registered against them.

However, now all the matters are in order, and their entry into BJP has been confirmed on Sunday (July 27), Bagul has said. All three MLAs from Nashik, Minister Girish Mahajan and State President Ravindra Chavan, will be present for this event.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will not be present as his visit to Nashik has been cancelled. Bagul also informed that thousands of prominent office bearers and activists of the Kamgar Aghadi in the district will be present. Bagul has said that he is once again entering politics with new vigour and new momentum and is starting work in a good manner.

This time, Bagul and Rajwade are going to enter the BJP with a big show of strength. Therefore, this is considered a big blow to the Thackeray group. The BJP has set its sights on '100 plus' (more than 100 seats) for the Nashik Municipal Corporation, and therefore, it is seen that the BJP's incoming campaign is going on at a fast pace. The BJP and Shiv Sena (Shinde group) have so far attracted many big leaders from the Thackeray group.
