Pimpri-Chinchwad: PCMC Property Tax Counters To Remain Open Till Midnight On Gudi Padwa & Ramzan Eid

With only two days left in the financial year, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has made special arrangements to facilitate last-minute property tax payments.
In view of the outstanding dues — approximately ₹274 crore from residential and ₹124 crore from commercial properties — the Property Tax Department has decided to keep all 18 regional tax offices and cash counters operational during the upcoming holidays.
On Sunday, March 30 (Gudi Padwa), and Monday, March 31 (Ramzan Eid), the counters will remain open until midnight and will continue operations until the last citizen in the queue is served.

Citizens are urged to utilise this opportunity to clear their dues before the end of the financial year.
To avoid queues and save time, PCMC has also encouraged citizens to pay property tax from the comfort of their homes. Online payment can be made via the official portal https://publicptaxpcmc.in/ using credit/debit cards, BHIM UPI, post office cards, mobile wallets, and other digital methods.
“To support citizens, PCMC has kept its tax collection offices and cash counters open even on weekends and public holidays. I urge all property owners to take advantage of this facility and contribute to the city’s development by paying their taxes on time," said Shekhar Singh, Commissioner, PCMC.

“To prevent inconvenience during the last days of the financial year, PCMC has ensured that all cash counters remain operational on holidays as well. Citizens can also use the online portal for quick and easy payment. We appeal to everyone to complete their tax payments before March 31," added Pradip Jambhale Patil, Additional Commissioner (1), PCMC.
