Nashik: Man Allegedly Kills Sister-In-Law During Family Dispute In Deola; Villagers Catch Accused

Nashik: A shocking incident has come to light from Deola taluka in Nashik district, where a man allegedly killed his sister-in-law during a violent family dispute. The accused had reportedly attempted to attack his wife during an argument, but the blow struck his sister-in-law in the chest, leading to her death.

The incident took place in the Bhaur Phata area of Deola taluka. The deceased woman has been identified as Chhaya Dnyaneshwar Jadhav. The accused, Shyam Anandas Mali, a resident of Dhondbe in Chandwad taluka, had allegedly been repeatedly harassing and physically assaulting his wife Maya. According to family members, he would often demand money from her while under the influence of alcohol, due to which Maya had returned to her maternal home some time ago.

On Friday, Chhaya Jadhav, along with her husband Dnyaneshwar, her mother and brother, visited Shyam Mali’s residence in an attempt to resolve the ongoing family dispute. However, during the discussion, Shyam allegedly lost his temper, pulled out a knife and first tried to attack his wife Maya. When the attack missed her, the knife struck his sister-in-law, Chhaya, in the chest.

Chhaya collapsed on the spot in a pool of blood. Family members immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Another person was also injured during the incident.

Following the incident, Chhaya’s husband, Dnyaneshwar Jadhav lodged a complaint at Deola Police Station. Police have registered a murder case against the accused. Villagers present at the spot managed to catch hold of Shyam Mali before he could escape and later handed him over to the police.

The brutal incident has created shock and tension in the area, with local residents demanding strict punishment for the accused. Police are carrying out further investigation into the case.
