In a shocking incident in Satara's Patan taluka, a car plunged into a valley while the driver was busy taking pictures of the scenery. The incident took place on Wednesday at 4pm in the Sadawaghapur area. The driver, identified as Sahil Jadhav (20, resident of Goleshwar, Karad), was seriously injured in the accident and is currently undergoing treatment.
According to the information received, Sahil had come to the Sadawaghapur area to hang out with his friends. His friends were busy taking photos at different places on the tabletop. Meanwhile, Jadhav was sitting in the car and taking photos. When he started to turn the car, the brakes did not apply, and the car slid on the grass, causing it to fall into a deep valley. However, at that time, his friends were not present at the spot. Mangesh Tukaram Jadhav (a resident of Mhavashi), who had gone to graze his goats, heard a sound from the valley and reached the spot. He broke the door of the car and pulled the trapped Sahil out.
