Three individuals from Kolhapur have allegedly defrauded investors in Nashik of ₹2.31 crore by falsely promising double returns within a year and daily profit deposits in their bank accounts. A case has been registered against the accused couple and their associate at Nashik Road Police Station.
According to the complaint filed by Samadhan Sahebrao Hire (44), a resident of Rohini Nagar, Nashik Road, the accused individuals Nitesh Kumar Mukudas Baldawa, Durga Baldawa (both residents of Azad Road, Jaysingpur, Kolhapur District), and Najeem Momin (resident of Bagal Chowk, Kolhapur District) have been defrauding investors since December 2023.
Hire and the Baldawa couple were acquainted through land purchase and sale transactions. The couple convinced Hire to invest by promising extra profits and introduced him to their investment scheme. They also encouraged him to introduce potential investors to them.
