For the uninitiated, the double-decker flyover at Nal Stop has been a great relief for people struggling with traffic, allowing vehicles to move from Law College Road and Mhatre Bridge to Karve Road.
Now, this flyover on Paud Road will alleviate traffic concerns in the area due to heavy congestion during peak hours and numerous signals. Paud Road is a crucial route for Pune's western regions, linking them to the Pune-Mumbai Highway.
Meanwhile, Shivajinagar MLA Siddharth Shirole has claimed in an X post that the Pune University Road flyover section from Bremen Circle to E-Square will be open for traffic from May 1. The construction of the flyover and Pune Metro’s Line 3 on the busy road has been a cause of traffic issues and frustration for commuters.
