Demand To Remove Dilapidated Water Tank At Dalimb Zilla Parishad School

Umarga: The School Management Committee has demanded the immediate removal of the dilapidated water tank located on the premises of the Zilla Parishad Central Primary School at Dalimb, citing the safety of students.

According to the letter submitted by the School Management Committee, the water tank on the school premises is in a dilapidated condition and may pose a risk to students. The letter states that the concerned Zilla Parishad, Panchayat Samiti and Gram Panchayat authorities have already been informed about the issue.

As per the resolution passed during the parents' meeting and School Management Committee meeting held on August 15, 2026, the committee has demanded that the dilapidated water tank be officially condemned and removed at the earliest.

The matter has also been brought to the notice of Gram Panchayat Dalimb, the Block Education Officer, Panchayat Samiti Umarga and the Zilla Parishad Education Department through a written communication. The School Management Committee has urged the concerned authorities to take immediate action in the interest of student safety.
