Aurangabad Video: Terrifying Cylinder Explosion In Deolai Sends Shattered Pieces Flying, Breaks Windows, Causes Rs 60 Lakh Losses

The fire that erupted in five shops and the cylinder explosion terrorized the entire Deolai area on Monday evening. The shops and vehicles parked in front of them were reduced to ashes. A cylinder in one of the shops exploded and flew into the air, causing a hole in a flat on the fourth floor of the building. The residents of the Deolai area were panicked by the massive flames and the sound of the huge explosion.

Police said Ashok Hiwale owns five shops on the main road in Deolai. These shops run businesses such as dairy, footwear, fruits, Gadighar, and fabrication. The fire broke out in the Gadighar at around 5 pm due to a short circuit, and as there were cotton and mattresses in the shop, the fire spread rapidly. The fire soon engulfed the remaining four shops. Nearby residents threw water on the fire, but it was so massive that it couldn't be brought under control. The fire brigade was called. Fire brigade officers Deepraj Gangawane, Haribhau Ghuge, Mushtaq Tadvi, Vinayak Kadam, and others rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.

Meanwhile, the cylinder in the fabrication shop exploded and flew into the air. The explosion was so terrifying that the windows of three buildings in the surrounding area were shattered. Similarly, walls in a newly constructed building developed cracks. An auto-rickshaw and a motorcycle were reduced to ashes. Losses amounting to around Rs 60 lakh have been estimated in the fire incident. Hiwale’s dairy shop incurred losses of around Rs 10 lakh, Mustaq’s Gadighar suffered Rs 8 lakh in losses, and Babasaheb Narale’s fabrication shop incurred losses of around Rs 2 lakh. The cause of the fire is said to be a short circuit, but the police stated that it will be confirmed after an examination by forensic experts.
