Aurangabad: One Dead, Four Critical As Workers’ Bus Overturns Near Kolhapur
More than 150 workers from ASR Company in Waluj Industrial area had gone on a picnic to Goa. Some of them were traveling in a private bus (DD01 T 9333). While returning, the bus overturned at Kandgaon in Karveer taluka near Kolhapur.

One worker died and four others were seriously injured when a workers’ bus, which had gone for a picnic from the Waluj Industrial area, turned turtle near Kolhapur in the early hours of Monday. The other workers sustained minor injuries.
More than 150 workers from ASR Company in Waluj Industrial area had gone on a picnic to Goa. Some of them were traveling in a private bus (DD01 T 9333). While returning, the bus overturned at Kandgaon in Karveer taluka near Kolhapur. One worker died, and 30 others sustained injuries. The condition of four workers is reported to be critical. The deceased has been identified as Amol Parshuram Bhise.
Nearby residents rushed to the accident site and took the injured to a hospital in Kolhapur. The condition of four workers remains critical, and they are receiving treatment.
The injured workers included Rupali Katare, Shahrukh Shaikh, Shubham Chavan, Samadhan Ubale, and others. Some workers have since returned to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, informed the ASR Company management.
