EIL & CEIL Celebrate Role In The World’s Highest Railway Bridge – Chenab Bridge

New Delhi, June 7, 2025: Engineers India Limited (EIL), a premier engineering consultancy under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, along with its wholly owned subsidiary Certification Engineers International Ltd. (CEIL), proudly announces its significant contribution to the recently inaugurated Chenab Rail Bridge – the world’s highest railway arch bridge, standing an astounding 35 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower.

The bridge was officially inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who hailed it as an engineering marvel and a symbol of New India’s strength, vision and capability. The Chenab Bridge not only sets global records but also stands as a beacon of India’s resilience and determination to build in the most challenging terrains.

EIL & CEIL played a pivotal role in this landmark project by delivering high-end engineering consultancy and quality assurance services, ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality benchmarks. Advanced technologies such as Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and other Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods were employed to ensure the structural integrity of this mega-infrastructure project.
