Turbhe Police Arrest 40-Year-Old Man For Strangling 47-Yr-Old Live-In Partner To Death Over Infidelity Suspicion
Yadav, originally from Uttar Pradesh, worked as a driver and had been living with the victim, Shibani (47), in a live-in relationship for the past five years. The couple resided in a rented house near the water tank on in Turbhe Stores. Yadav has a daughter who stays with his wife in Uttar Pradesh while Shibani’s husband and son reside in West Bengal.

Navi Mumbai: A 40-year-old man has been arrested by Turbhe police for killing his live-in partner over suspicion of infidelity. The accused identified as Ajaykumar Yadav, strangled his 47-year-old live-in partner to death in Turbhe on Friday
About The Case
Yadav, originally from Uttar Pradesh, worked as a driver and had been living with the victim, Shibani (47), in a live-in relationship for the past five years. The couple resided in a rented house near the water tank on in Turbhe Stores. Yadav has a daughter who stays with his wife in Uttar Pradesh while Shibani’s husband and son reside in West Bengal.

According to the police, Yadav often suspected Shibani’s character, leading to frequent arguments between them. On Friday afternoon, a heated altercation broke out over the same issue. In a fit of rage, Yadav brutally assaulted Shibani with kicks and punches before strangling her to death.
“Hearing the loud sounds of the fight, neighbors rushed to the spot near their home and found Shibani lying unconscious on the floor. They immediately took her to the hospital. However, doctors declared her dead before admission. Meanwhile, Yadav who attempted to flee away was held back by the neighbours and then we took his custody,” senior police inspector Abasaheb Patil from Turbhe MIDC police station said.
