Mumbai: Goods Train Wagon Derails Between Bhiwandi Road and Kharbav; No Impact on Suburban Services, Says Central Railway.
A wagon of a goods train derailed between Bhiwandi Road and Kharbav stations at approximately 6:32 PM on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred on the Central Railway's non-suburban section.
According to officials from Central Railway (CR), there has been no disruption to suburban train services due to the derailment. "As the incident took place on a non-suburban route, suburban train operations remain unaffected," a CR spokesperson confirmed.
Railway authorities have initiated efforts to restore the affected section, and an investigation will be conducted to ascertain the cause of the derailment. No injuries or casualties have been reported so far.
