Thane: The Narpoli Police booked an organizer of Bhageshwar Dham Sarkar for allegedly violating a High Court order during the events in Bhiwandi. A total of three FIRs have been registered so far against the organizers under the provision of the Noise Pollution Act (Regulation and Control) Rules 2000.
Police sources said that a program was held under the banner of Bageshwar Dham Charitable Trust in Dive, Bhiwandi, from April 5 to April 11. Thousands of devotees, including males and females, visited. Heavy police security was deployed here.
The Supreme Court of India has established guidelines for noise pollution, including restrictions on music and sound levels. The use of loudspeakers, public address systems, or any other noise sources is prohibited between 10 PM and 6 AM, except in closed premises like auditoriums, conference rooms, or community halls. However, the guidelines have been infringed upon by the organizers.

The police said that they found the decibel level was high and the program continued until 11:PM.
The question raised is whether the same violation consistently occurs and if any stringent action is being taken by the concerned department.
