Mumbai: In yet another face-off with the state government, special public prosecutor Pradeep Gharat, on Tuesday, said he has not been paid in the Jhanvi Kukreja murder case.
He told the court he had already asked the Khar police station to clear his dues within 15 days, failing which he would not continue with the trial. Gharat said he has written thrice to the police inspector and has also sent messages, but has not received any response. The court, meanwhile, concluded by recording the testimony of the 41st prosecution witness in the case.
