Rahul Pande Sworn In As Maharashtra's Chief Information Commissioner After Year-Long Vacancy
The state has been without a chief information commissioner since April, 2023. Pande is a former journalist from Nagpur. He was the information commissioner from October, 2021 to October 2023.

Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office to the newly- appointed state chief information commissioner Rahul Pande and three state information commissioners - Ravindra Thakre, Prakash Indalkar and Gajanan Nimdev on Monday at a brief ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan.
The state has been without a chief information commissioner since April, 2023. Pande is a former journalist from Nagpur. He was the information commissioner from October, 2021 to October 2023.
