Navi Mumbai Tragedy: 20-Year-Old Engineering Student Dies By Suicide After Battling Severe Migraine And Depression, Jumps From 14th Floor In Kalamboli
Fed up of migraine attacks, a 20-year-old engineering student ends his life by jumping from 14th floor. The deceased, identified as Kunal Popat Jadhav, was reportedly battling severe migraine attacks and had been suffering from depression for some time.

Navi Mumbai: Fed up of migraine attacks, a 20-year-old engineering student ends his life by jumping from 14th floor. The deceased, identified as Kunal Popat Jadhav, was reportedly battling severe migraine attacks and had been suffering from depression for some time.
"Kunal was a final year engineering student at Terna Engineering College in Nerul and lived with his family in the Hansdhvani Housing Society, Kalamboli. His father is a police constable posted at Govandi Police Station in Mumbai," senior police inspector Rajendra Kote from Kalamboli police station said.
According to police, the boy had been struggling with frequent and painful migraine attacks which had taken a toll on his mental health.
On Thursday morning, around 7 a.m., he approached the building’s security guard and requested the key to the terrace. The guard refused to hand it over. However, around 7:30 a.m., when the guard went to the terrace to release water, the boy went along with him. Taking advantage of a momentary lapse in the guard’s attention, the boy reportedly climbed over the edge and jumped.
Kalamboli Police rushed to the scene upon receiving the information and have registered a case of accidental death. According to police, the boy was brilliant in studies. He stayed with his parents and younger brother at their residence.
