Navi Mumbai Road Accident: 11-Year-Old Boy Killed As Speeding Water Tanker Hits Bike In Taloja; Driver Absconding
An 11-year-old boy tragically lost his life on Wednesday night when a speeding water tanker rammed into a motorcycle near the underpass at Taloja Phase-1. The child, who was riding pillion with his father, fell off the bike and sustained severe head injuries, resulting in his death before he could receive medical attention.

Navi Mumbai: An 11-year-old boy tragically lost his life on Wednesday night when a speeding water tanker rammed into a motorcycle near the underpass at Taloja Phase-1. The child, who was riding pillion with his father, fell off the bike and sustained severe head injuries, resulting in his death before he could receive medical attention.
The deceased has been identified as Harshdeep Pankaj Patil, a resident of Devashish Building in Taloja Phase-1. His father, Pankaj Patil, is a retired CRPF jawan. According to police, the incident occurred around 8.30 pm while the father and son were returning home from Kharghar.
As they neared the underpass at Taloja Phase-1, a water tanker belonging to Jeevandamini Water Suppliers coming from behind at high speed, collided with their two-wheeler. The impact threw Harshdeep off the motorcycle, and he suffered a critical head injury. Although he was immediately rushed to the hospital, doctors declared him dead.

The driver of the tanker fled the scene following the accident. Taloja police have registered a case and launched a search operation to apprehend the absconding driver. Police have urged witnesses to come forward with any information that might help identify the driver.
