Navi Mumbai News: MNS To Hold Art Protest On April 13 Demanding Price Cut For 26,000 CIDCO Homes
The exhibition will be symbolically inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also expected to attend the event

In a strong push against the high prices of CIDCO housing under the ongoing lottery scheme, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) is set to organize a symbolic art exhibition on Sunday, April 13, 2025, demanding a reduction in the prices of 26,000 CIDCO homes.
The exhibition will be symbolically inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also expected to attend the event. The MNS has called for immediate intervention to make CIDCO housing more affordable for common citizens of Navi Mumbai and surrounding areas.
According to MNS city secretary Sachin Kadam, the exhibition is a creative and peaceful demonstration aimed at drawing public attention and pressuring authorities to revise the pricing structure of these homes, which the party claims are unaffordable for the average middle-class family.
The event will take place at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Smriti Bhavan / Swami Vivekanand Community Hall, 3rd Floor, Plot No. 12/13, Sector 3, near Vashi Police Station, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The program will begin at 10:30 AM.
Media representatives have been invited to attend and cover the event as part of a wider effort to amplify the voices of citizens affected by housing unaffordability in the region.
