Navi Mumbai News: 29-Year-Old Woman Found Dead In Nerul Lodge; Police Hunt For Missing Companion
A resident of Ahmednagar, the lady had checked into the lodge at around 2.30 am with her companion, both wearing masks. After providing identification, they were allotted room number 301. However, in the morning, her companion secretly fled, and the lodge staff found no response from the room.

Navi Mumbai: A 29-year-old woman, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at the New Mini Mahal Lodge in Nerul’s Shiravane area on Thursday morning. Her male companion, who had checked in with her, fled the scene before the lodge staff discovered her unconscious. The Nerul police have launched a search operation for the missing man.
“According to preliminary investigations, the lady’s death is suspected to be due to an overdose of a sexual stimulant, but confirmation will come only after the post-mortem report. We have registered an accidental death case and are continuing their probe,” Assistant commissioner (Turbhe division) Mayur Bhujbal said.

At 9 am, when an employee entered, the lady was lying unconscious. The police were immediately alerted and rushed her to Meenatai Thackeray Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
The authorities are now investigating the circumstances leading to her death, while efforts to track down her missing companion are underway.
