Navi Mumbai: The Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) in Navi Mumbai saw the arrival of one lakh boxes of Hapus mangoes on April 7. Due to the surge in supply, the price of the popular fruit has dropped.
Hapus mangoes, known for their premium quality, are a famous variety from Maharashtra widely distributed across the state and even exported internationally. The mangoes have arrived from Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts in Konkan. The APMC wholesale market in Vashi witnesses a variety of high-quality mangoes every year.

According to a report by ABP Majha, around 20 thousand boxes of mangoes from other states, including Karnataka and Kerala, also entered the market. These mangoes are being sold at prices ranging from Rs. 60 to Rs.120 per kg.
