The misleading message falsely claims to be from the NMMC Water Supply Department and instructs people to contact a specific mobile number (09834225768) for assistance.

I inform you a notice has been issued to disconnect your pipeline water connection, Because your previous month Bill was not updated please update your connection or call our NMMC officers immediately. -09834225768
Note- Otherwise Your Pipeline water connection will be Disconnected Tonight 08:31 PM"
