Navi Mumbai Mega Job Fair 2025: 915 Job Seekers Attend Event At Don Bosco School In Nerul; 127 Hired On Spot, 1,000 Shortlisted

Navi Mumbai: The Mega Job Fair 2025 was organized today (1st February 2025), at Don Bosco, Nerul Navi Mumbai.

The Bombay Catholic Sabha in association with the Association of Muslim Professionals organised a mega job fair 2025. The fair was conducted to provide an opportunity for job seekers to connect to potential employers and find employment opportunities in their desired sectors. The fair was conducted at Don Bosco School Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

The fair was attended by 915 Candidates and 72 Corporates and Non-Government Organizations. “There were wide ranging job vacancies, and recruiters and employers were present at one place to provide information and opportunities to work with their esteemed companies. It was also a great chance for job seekers to network with employers and other job seekers, and build contacts in their careers of their choice and industry,” said an organiser.

The Mega Job Fair was inaugurated by Fr. Rector of Don Bosco High School - Fr. Barnabe D'souza, Salesians Don Bosco (SDB) welcomed the gathering and gave an insight on the Don Bosco Institution and it's fascinating initiates for the young people.

Dolphy D'souza , President of The Bombay Catholic Sabha thanked the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP), Aamir Edressy , their founding member and President and the AMP team. This was their 103 job fair and the third one in collaboration with The Bombay Catholic Sabha. “In the current situation of job distress , this was a small effort to assist the job seekers,” informed D’souza.

The coordinator for the entire event was Fr. Adolph Furtado , SDB and Fr. Allwyn Misquitta , SDB Mr. Firdaus Ansari of AMP spoke of having many more job fairs in the near future. “Candidates appeared for multiple interviews. Accordingly of the 3300 interviews taken, 127 were selected on spot and 1000 others were shortlisted for further rounds of interviews. Overall, the Mega Job Fair 2025 was a great initiative to bring together job seekers and employers, and it's a fantastic opportunity for people to find employment and build their careers,” said Ansari.
