Navi Mumbai Crime: 25-Year-Old Domestic Help Arrested In Rajasthan For Stealing Jewellery Worth ₹42.6 Lakh From Kharghar Bungalow
A domestic help who allegedly stole gold, silver, and diamond jewellery worth Rs 42.6 lakh, along with cash, from a bungalow in Kharghar has finally been arrested by the Kharghar police from Jalore, Rajasthan. The accused has been identified as Daulat Shaitan Singh (25), who worked as a servant at the bungalow.

Navi Mumbai: A domestic help who allegedly stole gold, silver, and diamond jewellery worth Rs 42.6 lakh, along with cash, from a bungalow in Kharghar has finally been arrested by the Kharghar police from Jalore, Rajasthan.
The accused has been identified as Daulat Shaitan Singh (25), who worked as a servant at the bungalow. On July 9, he allegedly took advantage of an opportunity and fled with the valuables and cash.
Following a complaint registered at the Kharghar police station, a special detection team led by Assistant Police Commissioner of Panvel division Bhausaheb Dhole and Senior Inspector Ajay Kamble launched a manhunt. The team, comprising PSI Suraj Jadhav, constables Kasar, Khedkar, and More, was dispatched to trace the accused at his residence in Sirohi, Rajasthan.
While keeping surveillance at his house, police discovered that Singh was frequently changing locations, and at one point, his location was traced to Himachal Pradesh. Another team was sent there, but later his location was confirmed in Jalore, Rajasthan.
Acting swiftly, the police nabbed Singh from Jalore. "During interrogation, he confessed to the crime. We subsequently recovered the entire stolen property, including gold, silver, and diamond jewellery along with the stolen cash, valued at Rs 42.6 lakh. Singh was then placed under arrest," PI Kamble said.
