Mumbai Weather Update: March Ends On Pleasant Note With Cooler Temperatures; No Rain Forecast For Coming Days
After a heatwave followed by extreme hot, humid weather conditions and scorching sun, the month of March is ending on a pleasant note for Mumbai. This week, the maximum temperature in Mumbai has been below normal with dry weather conditions.

Mumbai: After a heatwave followed by extreme hot, humid weather conditions and scorching sun, the month of March is ending on a pleasant note for Mumbai. This week, the maximum temperature in Mumbai has been below normal with dry weather conditions.
On Thursday, the maximum temperature recorded at Mumbai's Santacruz observatory was 31.3 degrees Celsius, which was 2.1 degrees below normal. The skies were partly cloudy. Several areas in the city remained below 29 degrees Celsius even in the afternoon.
"Due to strong westerly winds, the weather is cooler that mid -March. The pleasant weather conditions will continue for next 4 to 5 days. In April first week, the temperature will gradually increase," said IMD Mumbai Director Sunil Kamble.

Notably, several parts of the state has witnessed rainfall in last couple of days. The regions which witnessed unseasonal rainfall are Jalgaon, Sangli and others. However, IMD has not forecasted rainfall for Mumbai in the coming days.
