Mumbai Tragedy: 26-Year-Old Woman Dies By Suicide 2 Months After Marriage; Body Found At Santacruz Home
A 26-year-old woman allegedly ended her life barely two months after getting married. Her body was found at her mother’s residence in Santacruz (East) on Sunday night. No suicide note was discovered at the scene, and the reasons behind the woman’s drastic action remain unclear at this stage.

Mumbai: A 26-year-old woman allegedly ended her life barely two months after getting married. Her body was found at her mother’s residence in Santacruz (East) on Sunday night. No suicide note was discovered at the scene, and the reasons behind the woman’s drastic action remain unclear at this stage.
The police have registered an accidental death report and started investigations. According to the police, the deceased was identified as Neha Mishra, an accountant working in the diamond market at Bandra-Kurla Complex. Neha was married just two months ago and was living at her maternal home. She was alone at the time of the incident, as her mother had gone to visit a nearby temple.
Upon returning home around 10.30pm, her mother found Neha’s lifeless body. She had allegedly hanged herself with a saree.

Neighbours and local residents described Neha as a soft-spoken and reserved individual. According to them, she mostly kept to herself but appeared perfectly fine the last few times they saw her.
